Google vs Cable

There has been speculation for a couple of months now about google creating a large wifi network. If google is able to blanket most of the earth with broadband internet access paid for by advertisement dollars what stops them from taking it just one step further? The technology for developing an online TV network has been growing exponentially. It is our prediction, here at the Big Hush, that if google bring broadband to the masses that they will use this technology to create a the new online TV network.
